Hometown kid, from Inglewood, California, stayed home at USC and has become a defensive star.
Strengths:
A very instinctive linebacker, who has a very quick burst at the snap. Has been very durable and productive for USC. He is the leader of the Trojan defense and has made some pivotal plays for them. Will surpass 300 career tackles before leaving USC.
Weaknesses:
Has size limitations for the Inside linebacker position at the next level. At only 6’1″ and 235 pounds, he may be better suited for the Strong Safety position. HIs move would be limited due to his stiff hips and lack of top speed.
Draft Prognosis:
As an inside backer he is a top 10 guy at the position and should go in the middle rounds. I would say the 5th round is his target round.
