#1 Mississippi State Bulldogs (9-0) @ #5 Alabama Crimson Tide (8-1)

Coming off a huge win at Death Valley against LSU, Alabama will be looking to knock Mississippi State out of their playoff perch and solidify their own spot. Mississippi State is coming off a win against a cupcake in Presbyterian College and will have to bring their A-game against the Crimson Tide. This is not only a huge game for the National Playoff race, but also to claim the SEC West title and a shot in the SEC Championship game in Atlanta.
QB Dak Prescott Mississippi State Bulldogs
A junior QB burst on to the scene this season as not only a legitimate Heisman candidate, but also a NFL Draft prospect. Prescott has put up 2,231 passing yards, 18 passing touchdowns with 7 interceptions. On the ground he has added 779 yards and 11 touchdowns, he has even caught 2 passes for 35 yards and a score. Prescott still has some refining to do, but he has the opportunity to return to school and boost his draft stock for the 2016 NFL Draft.

S Nick Perry Alabama Crimson Tide
Playing safety next to SS Landon Collins, you may not get mention as much as you would like, but Nick Perry has made his mark for the Crimson Tide. Perry was granted a medical redshirt after missing all of 2013 and returned for his 5th year to finally get a starting spot. Coming into the season, Perry was Alabama’s most experience safety with 29 games played with 4 starts. This season he has tallied 44 tackles, 1 TFL, and 3 passes broken up. Nick Perry at the moment is a 6th-7th round guy.

“ Nick Perry doesn’t get the attention of Landon Collins, but he makes just as many plays. Another hard-nosed safety for Alabama.” – Bret LaGasse

#3 Auburn Tigers (7-2) @ #20 Georgia Bulldogs (7-2)

Auburn will come into this one reeling after a home loss to Texas A&M that basically knocked them out of the playoff race. The Tigers will go on the road to Athens to take on Georgia, who gets their stud RB Todd Gurley back from suspension. Georgia will look to keep pace with the Missouri Tigers in the SEC East. Missouri travels to Texas A&M to take on the Aggies. Even though both teams are basically out of the playoff race, both teams are looking to get into a premium bowl game in January.
DT Gabe Wright Auburn Tigers
Has the look of Aaron Donald or Dominique Easley, with a stout frame and quick first step. Wright has lost almost 20 pounds to make himself quicker at the point of the attack. This season he is even being used as a Defensive End in certain packages. This season he has 16 tackles, 3 TFLs, 1 sack and 8 quarterback hurries. Wright is currently a 2nd or 3rd round pick, but has the ability to move up as we have seen in past years with a Defensive Tackle.

LB Amarlo Herrera Georgia Bulldogs
Herrera is a senior inside linebacker for what has become the newest Linebacker U. He is a tackling machine and also has the ability to get after the quarterback. This season he has compiled 75 tackles, 8 TFLs, 3 sacks and 4 quarterback hurries. At 6’2” and 231 pounds he has the size to play inside at the next level or kick outside in a 3-4 defense.

#13 Nebraska Cornhuskers (8-1) @ #25 Wisconsin Badgers (7-2)

Coming off a bye week, which was perfect timing for a nicked up Ameer Abdullah, Nebraska will travel to Camp Randall to take on the Badgers. Nebraska is currently leading the West division of the Big Ten and this game will go a long way and determining who will make the conference championship game in this division. Wisconsin’s blemishes this season came at a neutral site against a very good LSU team and an unexplainable loss at Northwestern. Nebraska with only one loss has an outside shot of sliding into the playoff race with a victory in this one.
WR Kenny Bell Nebraska Cornhuskers
A 3-year starter for the Cornhuskers, Bell does not have a great frame for a NFL wide out, but he is an excellent blocker and runs crisp routes. He was excellent work ethic and is a very reliable receiver. Bell is only 1 yard away from becoming the all-time leading receiver in Nebraska school history. This season he has 34 catches for 577 yards and 2 touchdowns.

DT Warren Herring Wisconsin Badgers
Herring was Beau Allen’s backup last season and this year he was off to a hot start against LSU until he left with an injury and missed the next 5 games before returning against Maryland. In Wisconsin’s last game against Purdue, it finally seemed like he was back at 100%. When healthy, Herring is the type of DT that teams love, because he loves to do all the dirty work to free up his linebackers to make all the plays. Guys like that are extremely valuable in this league.

#21 Clemson Tigers (7-2) @ #24 Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets (8-2)

After the heartbreaking loss at Florida State, Clemson has reeled off 6 consecutive victories in the ACC. Sitting second in the Atlantic division, Clemson is in position if Florida State were to fall. Georgia Tech has won three straight games quite easily after losing two straight to Duke and North Carolina. It will be interesting to see how the vaulted defenders handle the triple option offense of the Yellow Jackets. GT has the 3rd ranked rush offense in the nation and will take on the 12th ranked overall defense in Clemson in this one.
LB Stephone Anthony Clemson Tigers
Anthony is a Senior LB for the Tigers and has been a stat stuffing animal this season. He has 57 tackles, 8.5 TFLs, 2.5 sacks, 2 forced fumbles, 4 QB hurries, 3 passes defended and 1 interception. Anthony has great size and speed and should be a mid round pick this coming April.

S Isaiah Johnson Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets
Isaiah Johnson, a senior strong safety for Georgia Tech has a nose for the ball and makes plays all over the field. With great size, Johnson is a good NFL prospect and has performed on the field this season. He has 48 tackles, 1 interception, 1 fumble forced, 1 fumble recovered, 1 TFL, and 5 passes defended. The next two games against ranked opponents will be a scouts dream to see how he can play against tough competition.

#2 Florida State Seminoles (9-0) @ Miami Hurricanes (6-3)

Florida State will play their last road game this season when they travel to South Florida to take on their rivals, the Miami Hurricanes. FSU is coming off victories against Louisville and Virginia. Miami is having a down year, but still has the weapons to pull the upset and they would love to knock their hated rivals out of the playoff race. Miami has played well over their last three with blowout wins over Cincinnati, Virginia Tech and North Carolina. Miami will be out to be the spoilers, but FSU will be looking to keep their unbeaten streak alive.
TE Nick O’Leary Florida State Seminoles
If the kid can stay off motorcycles, he could become a very good tight end at the next level. O’Leary has sure hands and runs excellent routes. This season he has 33 catches for 364 yards and 2 touchdowns. He also has a rushing touchdown this season. If he continues to impress he could be the top tight end in the 2015 NFL draft class, which isn’t saying much, because the TE class is extremely thin.

“ O’Leary isn’t your traditional TE, but he is in the mold of play maker TEs in today’s NFL. O’Leary has deceptive speed, and play making ability. Reliable hands and knows how to help out the QB. -Bret LaGasse
DT Olsen Pierre Miami Hurricanes
At a mammoth 6’5” and 300 pounds, Pierre mans the Defensive Tackle spot for the Miami Hurricanes. This season he has 24 tackles, 1.5 TFLs and 2 passes batted down. Over the years, Miami has produced numerous excellent defensive tackles such as Sapp and Vince Wilfork, Olsen Pierre is not on their level, but he is still a serviceable player who should get a look in the 6th or 7th round of the draft.
