Jake Fisher has a very lean build for a 6′ 6″ frame, but that is what teams are looking to match the athleticsm of Defensive Ends and Outside Linebackers around the league.

Strengths:

Good size and agility for his size.  Has long arms and strong hands at the point of attack.  Is an excellent double team blocker and has the ability to get to the secong level of blocking schemes. This season he showed us his versatility by stepping in at Left Tackle after starting the previous two at Right Tackle.

Weaknesses:

Fisher gets in trouble when he fails to move his feet.  He gets sloppy and loses battles towards the end of games due to conditioning issues.  Leverage becomes and issue with him when he tires.  Fisher has been relatively healthy in College, but he would need to bulk up a little more for the NFL level of competition.

Draft Prognosis:

Fisher at the moment is a 2nd or 3rd round pick, but he has the looks to be a fast riser and move up into the first round before this year’s draft.
