Lattimore is a long corner with good movement skills. He has the prototypical size NFL teams look for in a Corner Back. Lattimore is a very athletic and stays aggressive in his stance at the LOS. He uses his hands well, including a strong inside hand to disrupt receivers’ routes. He matches receivers’ movements well, allowing him to stay with most receivers. He has had an injury history, which has lead him to missing time during his first two seasons. He came on strong in 2016, however, he was not really tested by a lot of top tier WRs. Even with limited playing time, Lattimore has good instincts and feel for the game. He recognizes run plays and works through blockers to make the tackle. He is actually a quality tackler. Lattimore is easily the best Corner back in this deep Corner back draft.

We are a little higher on Tre’Davious White than others, but for good reason. White is a good corner that can be left on an island to cover the best receiver. He has also shown ability to play in the slot at times. He is a quick footed Corner with quality footwork technique. He is aggressive and will attack the ball. He has good burst to the ball as evidence by his INT and PBU totals. (6 INTs/34 PBU). He has good change of direction ability, which helps in the slot and in traffic. He has punt return ability scoring a TD in each of his last three seasons. He has shown improvement to attack the LOS against the run, but he is not very reliable in run support. White should see an immediate impact in the NFL, especially with his special teams ability.

Much like Lattimore, Humphrey has the size and athleticism for the new wave of Corner backs. He has fluid hips and movement skills. He has good make up speed and good short area acceleration. He excels attacking short routes and getting after the football. He has very good athletic ability reacting to receivers’ routes. Not easily blocked by WRs and will fight off blocking WRs. He has a nose for the football, which is evident by his 5 INTs and 3 FF. He has the ability to take an INT to the house with his ability to jump routes. Willing and able tackler against the run. He is aggressive while pressing, but will become impatient and get caught being overaggressive. His footwork needs improvement, if he wishes to stop giving up separation to WRs. His overall technique can use work, but he has the athletic tools to put it all together. Once he puts athleticism and technique together, he can be a dominant CB in the NFL.

Conley has a little more playing time than his teammate Lattimore, and like Lattimore, has shown improvement in 2016. Conley uses the sideline to his advantage and force receivers out of bounds. When he can get the inside leverage, he has the upper hand and uses his height to leave the QB little room to throw the ball. He is a good press corner that knows how to match receivers with is feet. He knows how to use his long arms to break up passes and knows how to time throws well. He plays with a low and wide stance that he uses to reroute receivers. Conley can be beat by inside routes and cause him to over extend and get beat. He doesn’t have the loose hips to play in off coverage and plays much better in a pressman situation.

When talking about Adoree’ Jackson, the word playmaker comes to mind. He played some WR all three seasons, as well as returning punts and kicks. He is a playmaker with the ball in his hands. Jackson has excellent foot speed, which allows him to recover. He mirrors wide receivers well from the press, but can get overaggressive from the press. He shines with his ball skills and ability to time the throw. Jackson may see an immediate impact as a slot corner. His draft stock is helped by his playmaking ability on defense, offense, and special teams. His size will limit how much he plays outside.

Awuzie (Ah-wooz-yeh) has the perfect size and athleticism for the NFL. He has fluid hips which allow for easy change of direction. The word to remember with him, is SMOOTH. Awuzie shows the ability to match step for step in man coverage. He has the suddenness and spring in his step to close in on the ball and receivers. He reads route combinations well and tends to make the right choice. He can be beat deep and lacks the recovery speed if beaten. With his smooth skill and ability to match footwork, he does not get beat much over his head, but if he does, he likely will not be able to catch the receiver. He has shown the ability to be disruptive and make plays in the backfield, as evident by his 25 TFL, 9 sacks, 7 Qb hurries. He is an effective blitzer, especially from the slot.

Kevin King has been overlooked thanks to his talented teammate Sidney Jones, however, King has been quietly good. King has a rare combination of height and movement for his size. At 6’3, he bends well and transitions well. He has the length to go up and come down with the INT at it’s highest point. He uses the sideline to his advantage, and leave the Qb with no window to throw. He has seen time at both safety spots and both corner spots. He gets aggressive with blocking CBs and is a willing tackler. Willing is different than able. He is willing to step up and attempt a tackle, but he tends to arm tackle, allowing RBs to run through his tackle. He can make ridiculous INTs with ease. His biggest downfall is his height being too tall for CB and his frame being too slender to play safety. He could see some success as a FS in a nickel and line up as an outside corner in the base formation.

Sidney Jones is an aggressive Cornerback that has strong hands. He uses every bit of the 5 yards to contact wide receivers. He has good eyes and trusts what he sees. Undercuts routes well and anticipates routes. He tracks the ball well and finds it early on. He has twitchy feet and good closing speed to get to the ball. He breaks up passes with hand slaps and arm rips. He needs to add weight to his frame and bulk up just a little to continue success in the NFL. He tore his Achilles at his Pro Day, which will unfortunately drop his stock from 1st-2nd to late 2nd-3rd.

Rasul Douglas has great size at 6’3 209, but may be better suited to play safety in the NFL. He is a strong/physical corner with good ball skills. He attacks slant routes and makes a play on the ball. Solid tackler and gets ball carriers to the ground. Usually wins jump balls and has the ball skills necessary to come down with the ball. His size will become a problem with smaller, shiftier WRs. He is too upright to cover smaller WRs and will get beat by deep fast WRs. His productive 2016 will leave teams interested, especially with his size and athletic ability.

Moreau was a former RB and has the size, speed, and strength of a RB. Moreau has fluid movement, with good lateral quickness and agility. He has the ability to attack underneath routes and disrupt slants. He has the strength to press and disrupt WRs at the LOS, but he has to maintain his aggressiveness. He tends to allow smaller WRs to get over on him. He is a good wrap up tackler and will be effective against the run. He will be limited to a press man or an off coverage defense. He still has work to do as far as being a CB, but he has the potential to develop into a quality NFL CB.
