With his recent position change, there is not much tape available for him at the tight end position.  The video below is his highlight tape from the 2011-12 season as the running quarterback, but you can see the kids athleticism and the skills necessary to be a weapon as a tight end.

Strengths:  Absolute willingness to do anything for his team. From being a run only quarterback, to a starting quarterback to attempting the switch a totally new position.  Bell has the height at 6’6″ to be a dominant force at the positon.  This season at his new positon he has 11 catches for 132 yards and 2 touchdowns.  He also has 2 rushes for 4 yards.  In years past he was unstoppable on the goaline as a runner, even being dubbed the “Belldozer”.  He has the physical characteristics to be successful at the positon, but he just has not had the reps necessary to complete a full evaluation.

Weaknesses:  One galring issue is his lack of playing time as a tight end.  Most of his reps have come as a quarterback.  His physical traits are ideal for a tight end, but it has remained to be seen if he can succeed at the position.  With no catches as a college athlete coming into the season and only having 11, 9 weeks into the season, we cannot give a full evaluation on him as a tight end.

Draft Prognosis:  His stock is all over the place. The athlete in him will garner a look or two. I could see a team rolling the dice on him, but no earlier than the 6th round.  If he does go undrafted, he will be a priority undrafted free agent.
