Stefon Diggs is a do everything wide receiver for the University of Maryland.  Coming off a broken fibula from Week 7 of last season against Wake Forest.  Diggs has the opportunity to move up the charts with a injury free, productive season.

Strengths:  Diggs is a playmaker for the University of Maryland and lines up all over the field.  Diggs lines up on the outside, slot, in the backfield and even returns kicks.  He runs a sub 4.4 forty yard dash and that speed translates to his game as well.  Diggs has the down field ability to stretch the field, but is also an active participant in the screen and short pass game.  He has the make you miss wiggle that can take a screen pass the distance at any moment.

Weaknesses:  Stefon Diggs is only listed a 6’0″ and 190 pounds, but as we have seen recently those smaller guys have carved a niche in many offenses around the league especially if they have the speed to go with it.  Injuries may become a concern with him as well. In 3 seasons in College Park, he has been hurt multiple times.

Draft Prognosis:  At the moment he is a top 10 WR for the 2015 draft class and with a good productive season, he will move up.  If he can’t stay healthy, Diggs may choose to return to Maryland for another season.  His ability as a wide receiver and a kick returner will draw interest for many teams.  I currently have him slotted to be chosen in the late second at the highest with the possibility of dropping to the fourth.
